Loyal friend

The character that I found most interesting is Benvolio because I can connect to him .  Benvolio is the nephew of Montagues and a cousin and friend to Romeo. Benvolio is a peacemaker who tries to keep the peace and tries to be Romeos counselor and helps him with his problems about his young love life. Benvolio tells Romeo to look at other beauties and forget about anyone who is not interested in him. Benvolio is also a loyal friend.

  Benvolio is a peacemaker  he avoids conflicts and tries to resolve the problem.  Benvolio in the beginning of the play he  breaks up the fight between the servants Sampson, Gregory, Abram and Balthasar. This shows he is a peacemaker and tried to avoid a bigger conflict. Benvolio is a loyal friend especially with romeo for example in the beginning of the play he found out romeos problem which was lovesickness and told him to forget about anyone who is not interested in him and to look for other beautiful women.

Benvolio is a very interesting character because unlike everyone else he wants to keep peace .   He always tries to resolve conflicts and make peace. I can connect to benvolio because I like to be away from conflicts and like to resolve them. All in All he is a different character from anyone else in the play by being a loyal friend and peacemaker.

     " I'll Be Missing You " By P Diddy ft Faith Evans is about losing someone you really loved. This song goes out to anybody who lost someone they truly loved. The lyrics were written by a rapper named Sauce Money. This song was released in 1997.This is a tribute to Notorious B.I.G., a rapper and good friend of P. Diddy who was shot to death while the 2 were riding together. Faith Evans sang this song to her husband Notorious B.I.G.

  The line " Words cant explain what you mean to me , Even though your gone we still a team."   This means that P Diddy had so much love for Notorious B.I.G and even though he is gone there still "a team." This also means even though he is gone their friendship will go on forever. Another line is " Cant imagine all the pain I feel , Give anything to hear your breath" This means P Diddy will give anything up to at least hear half his breath and has to much love for him he cant even imagine the pain he feels.

  This is one of my favorite songs because I can connect to it. Because someone to my Grandfathers life away and even though he is gone we still a team. Every day me and my parents pray for him and we know he is in heaven smiling down.He was a very important person in my life he taught me the right and wrong things to do in life.He was always a person to go for love, help and even to cheer me up when i was struggling he brought me back up.

Dangerous ? Or not ? #LmK

    In the article " Is Football Just To Dangerous ?" Its a debate on weather football is dangerous or not. Because concerns are rising abut head injuries - especially among young people. The author has 2 different opinions with different statements using evidence. The author used other peoples opinion to show their is to sides to every topic in this case it is weather is Football to dangerous. Below I will state which side I agree with.

         I think Yes Football is Dangerous , Because it could cause brain damage. Especially at a young age when your brain is not fully formed. Repeated concussions can cause cte according to Buzz Bisinger he also think football is to dangerous. On the other hand Scott Hallenbeck stated "It's not only football, girls hockey has double the head injury rates than football." This shows that football isn't the only problem with head injuries. I dont think Football should be removed but show young kids to tackle correctly with their shoulder and not their heads. I also agree with scott.

        I believe Football is dangerous but fun. I also believe if kids learn how to tackle correctly this problem can be solved. I find girls hockey to be way to dangerous due to the head injurys. I think that sports that can get people killed should think about ways to make the game more safer.

The hunger games

   In the book The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins we are introduced to our protagonist, Katniss Everdeen. She lives in a country called Panem which is broken into 12 districts. However each year the capitol of Panem host an event called the hunger games. Which means for every district 1 boy and 1 girl must be drafted they to fight in a arena for their life. Katniss younger sister Prim was selected but instead she volunteered as a tribute to take her place.
   I think that Katniss has a unselfish way of thinking. Shes trust worthy, Responsable , and last but not least she is a leader. For example she's only a teenager, and hunter who puts food on her family's table. Ever since her father passed away shes the one who has been feeding her family. All in All she is unselfish.
     I Can relate to this story because i seen my own cousin go threw this. His father left him when he was little with his sister. He has carried out his family by working very hard and supporting his family.

Segregation

 I recently finished  reading the picture book “The Sneetches” by Dr. Suess.  The story is about sneetches which is creature called a Sneetch. Their are a bunch of sneetches but  some sneetches have stars on their bellies and others do not.  The “Star-Bell” Sneetches think that they are better and are worth more than  starless Sneetches.  They really wanted stars on their bellies and so they did  after a businessman named Sylvester McMonkey McBean who has a machine that removes and replaces the stars on the Sneetches bellies.  After McBean leaves with a whole bunch of money, the Sneetches realize that it was not worth all the money they wasted at the end they realized no Sneetch is better than any other Sneetch.

            I think that the stars on the bellies of some Sneetches represents race or some type of physical characteristics .  A line that got me thinking was, “Those stars weren’t so big.  They were really so small.  You might think that such a thing wouldn’t matter at all.”  This made me think of racism because our color shoudnt be a thing people should judge us something that small shouldnt be a problem. 

            I think that message that was shared was we might not all look the same but we are special and in some way were all the same. Another message is that no person should put people in groups that make them feel more or less than themselves. Most of this book was about the segregation of the sneetches.  All in all i think no one should be offended or offended someone else cause of their physical characteristics. 

 This relates to the world because lots of people get offended  for little things that shouldnt even matter like skin color hair shoes clothes and etc.

The Lorax

I currently finished reading "The Lorax " by Dr.Seuss is a book about a greedy business man. He wanted lots of money only for himself . He started to make lots of money on sweater that were using up trees. More and more people started to want the sweater so the greedy business man was in alot of business gaining lots and lots of money. The more business he made the more trees were being used. Until one day he was out of business because there were no more trees he had use them all. The theme of this book was we need to keep our environment safe and to protect it and not put it to waste . 

I think that it is a bad idea to use up all our trees because if we dont have trees we wont have oxygen. Without oxygen we wouldn't be able to live. I think this could be our future we could use up all our trees on paper that we all use every single day in school and pencils so i think we should be grateful and maybe limit the trees we knock down every year. This doesnt only effect us but the animals they want a safe environment just like us so lets change that.

The message in this story is strong because the greedy business man was brained washed by the money that he really didn't know what he was doing to the environment. He basically was destroying the environment but didnt notice. The other message was not to be selfish and only think about yourself but also the consequences. All in all the book thought the readers about consequences and selfishness.

Say what?

I recently read The Lighting Theif, by Rick Riordan. It is the not-so-stunning start to a series of books with one of the lamest plotlines I have ever had the misfortune to read. It goes something like this: Percy Jackson is a normal half-god kid with dyslexia. First his math teacher tries to kill him, then some guy who is half-cow. Then it turns out someone stole a really powerful weapon from the king of the greek gods (who are real), so they blame him for no reason. He goes on a "quest" to find the weapon and almost gets gobbled up by monsters. Then he almost gets gobbled up by a giant who is currently chopped up into a million bite-sized peices. Go figure! Then he fights the god of dead people and the god of war right in a row and somehow beats them both. The End.
You see what I mean about this book being terrible? It has the worst plotline ever, if you can even call it a plotline. It makes you wonder what drugs Rick Riordan was on when he wrote this (terrible) book.

     I am currently reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. In this book a teenage girl named Katniss Everdeen who hunt to put food on the table for her family of 3 her and her mom and her little sister . Her father however past away in a mine explosion and taught her how to hunt. They live in the country Panem in district 12. Every year the capitol Panem hosts a game called The hunger games where two kids from age 12 - 18 are drafted as tributes from every district there are 12 districts. They are brought into an arena to fight for their lives. The main conflict in the hunger games is man vs man because its katniss vs 23 tributes she has to fight for her life and make tough decisions on who to kill and who not to.

After ever After

Character change

 In the book "After ever after" by Jordan Sonnenblick Jeffery the boy who had cancer is   a teen who's in remission, but life still feels fragile. He thinks very little of himself and doesn't have someone to go to like he used to from his big brother steven who went to africa because he had enough in his house.The after affects have left jeffery really bad he doesn't do good in school.He has a big test coming up in math which is his worst subject but his best friend Tad helps him as his tutor.Tad is also a boy who had cancer and still does and is in a wheel chair he is going to have to get a transplant and doesnt make it and jeffery really changes from that by seeing that people actually cared about him and really helped him. Another reason why his big brother moved was because of the struggles his parents had with bills.
